Do you hear the birds of sunrise long before you see the sun?
Just so, you hear the voice of Engelblau long before you see the Light of Paradise.
ASCOLTARE: Italian for LISTEN. I am the LISTENING ANGEL, chosen to announce because I am good at LISTENING.I listen well to the message, and thus I can report it accurately.
So the very first thing we do here at the entrance to the Valangaverse is, LISTEN.shhh. LISTEN.

We greet you with one of our favorite expression: Laetare, Turba Coelitum.
Now, we may be on our Vernal venezian vacation (venice of course being named for Venus) but the center remains open so visit the vice president before you venture into the valangaverse.
As for those seeking admission to the university, all applicants are vetted for their LOVE aptitude, by me, Engelblau, before joining the celestial crew.
This is to ensure that everyone at the University is loved by everyone else.

ONE. AMBASCIATORE: Italian for Ambassador, which is really what an angel is, think of the embassy of any country. Well, we run the embassy of Paradise.We are not that keen on bureaucracy but we find it necessary to conduct diplomatic relationships in this fashion to avoid war
So if you are seeking a passport to Paradise, naturally you have to go through me, Engelblau. Incidentally, we maintain diplomatic relations and apostolic nunzios with a number of neighborhoods including but not limited to Bensonhurst, Billyburg and the Bronx. And yes, I do like to play with sounds. So what? Did you know Edwin Hubble "discovered the universe" on this day one hundred years ago? Angels may like to laugh but that does not mean they are stupid.

TWO. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Whoa, not so fast. What is an announcement, after all?
The angelic area of paradise has one whole department devoted to this.
An announcement is a communication of something heretofore unknown.
That's what education is all about, isn't it?
Now for the announcements specific to this season.
The week of April 26 is break week, the end of spring trimester and the beginning of summer vacation for those who so choose.
We divide the year into three equal trimesters so that those who want garden in their spare time and maximize the growing season, or those who wish to undertake other projects outdoors, may do so.
That means our "spring vacation" comes at the end of the spring trimester instead of in the middle.
Of course you can always hang around and goof off here too at least until the quarantine is over. And by goof off--there's always stuff to do so you will never be bored!
Let me take a moment to explain the menu we are using. It begins with Straight As to encourage everyone, and also, to illustrate how all human languages and words are related, all coming as they do from the wind, the breath of life which you mortals inhale in order to speak.
